Forwarding Jasper

Hi! I’m Jasper. As a BI specialist I make sure all the required data from the various systems comes together in one place, for the right Bieze Food Group department.

It’s my job to make the data available to everyone in the organisation. With the help of all this data my colleagues, for example in the warehouse, can see what is going on, from the shelf life of a product to when and how long it’s been in the warehouse, and where the bottlenecks are. This knowledge reduces the risk of food wastage and speeds up the turnaround time of our products.

WHAT WE DO FOR OUR PEOPLE AND OUR LOCAL ENVIRONMENT

Tour du ALS

ALS is a serious muscular disorder. The around 1500 ALS patients in the Netherlands include Monique – the wife of our colleague Maurice who works for BFG IT & Services. For Monique and all the other people affected by this terrible disease a BFG team is climbing Mont Ventoux in France to raise as much money as possible for the ALS Foundation. Whether we’re going up the mountain cycling, walking or as a member of a running team we’re doing it together to help eradicate ALS.

SPORT & CONNECTION

QSTA and United Basketball have entered into a great partnership. BFG is based in Gelderland, which makes the company feel a strong connection with the region. BFG considers it important to show this in both words and deeds. The partnership contributes towards strengthening the local health programme Gelderland Gezond, which aims to inspire the region’s residents to eat a more healthy diet, live a healthier lifestyle and exercise more. The aim is to involve both young and old through various activities including organising clinics and programmes for schools.

Food Academy Nijkerk

QSTA  is an indispensable link between food producers and supermarket chains. A lot of chilled and frozen products make a stop-over in Nijkerk. And that requires a lot of employees. BFG is affiliated with Food Academy Nijkerk and, as a result, is involved in the development of a BBL (combined work and study) training course for logistics employees. The cooperation between regional food companies is extremely important to us, including as a way to show how great it is to work in the food sector.
